Today is Day I of the three day Great Falls Balloon Festival in the Twin Cities of Lewiston and Auburn. (Some call it LA, but I certainly do not.) Upon leaving for the cube this morning, Mrs. Tourist and I had a stellar view of the ballons passing over our house from the 6:00 AM launch. The 6:00 PM launch, however, was apparently called on account of wind. Or maybe impending thunderstorms. Or...

Oh well. If nothing else, we had a nice walk tonight and some fab people watching.

The middle roof, I believe, is my house. I could have just stayed home.

(inhale) hhhhuuuuuhhhhh???? Are we about to launch?!?!? Naaaahhhhhh.

I lied! Kind of. This one was blown up enough to let the kids run through an inflating balloon. I'm happy to report that nobody was killed or injured.

Will it go off tomorrow?!? Tune in tomorrow!!!
